So after seeing a really nice scale maille shirt at dexcon I was wondering if anyone knows of a place to get a shirt made or if anyone here makes scale maille. Let me know.

I have been doing some research on Scale Mail as well and would like to see what pops up here.
The two main ways of making it that I have considered: 1) Leather scales sewn onto leather body, 2) Metal scales riveted onto leather.
I also like Lamellar armor and have looked at this SCA armor a bit, but ultimately I don't think it would have the right look for KR. (www.plasticlamellar.com/)

For metal scale, theringlord.com and a pair of split ring pliers is all you need.
For leather scale, eBay and $20 worth of leather scraps should cover someone who wears up to a size XL t-shirt. For hardware you'd need a cutting tool, some rapid rivets, a leather punch, and a belt end punch.
