So I just recently got into making chain mail. I plan on making my own for my own character, but I thought to myself, why not see if there is a market for it at KR and see about making a small amount of cash on the side. I've been doing it for two weeks and have a coif headpiece about 90 % finished. I plan on finishing it, and working on a hauberk for myself, hoping to have it done by the January event. By that time I should have a better idea of production times, prices etc. and would be able to start taking an order or two at a time to make whatever you would be interested in. I'm currently saving money by winding the rings by hand rather than buying them from ringlord.com This certainly gives me better bang for the buck and saves on materials but makes the process alot lengthier as well. Anyways I don't have anything for sale now, but I wanted to see what the interest level in something like this would be. I'll be bringing the Coif to the January event so you can see a sample of my product. It is steel, so it's heavier, but will hopefully get you the professional grade ranking for your armor. Let me know if interested.

Hey!
While I'm not in the market for any armour myself, it might be cool if you could post a photo of some of your work, and perhaps give estimates for how much you intend to charge for a few different types of chain garments?
Cheers!

Well, I still need to research online appropriate prices for products comparable to mine. I don't want to horribly overshoot, or undershoot on the price. My sample piece also isn't done yet, but I plan on finishing it, and a shirt to bring in January as samples. Don't have pictures to post as of yet.

Ok so I finished my coif. As of now this is the only product I have. Checking out prices on etsy, this thing could go for anywhere between 150-200 dollars, but I'm more than willing to negotiate. Let me know if you are interested in this or something similar.
