From what i remember of them from Museums, Books, and historical movies.. they looked similar to a "modern" tent... meaning 4 sides and a pyramid shaped roof which overhangs the walls creating and aning type look. that the walls were aproximately 8 feet high and with a roof another 4 above that (i dont know for certain but its just what i seem to remember from the aforementioned resourses.  if someone knows better than I and I am wrong i would hope they would correct me. so that both I and you would have the correct information.

Don't know how authentic this would be but when I first saw the pics on the website Noctra linked to it reminded me of the basic "party tent" you can rent--and buy if you get the right catalogue.  I know the fabric is all different, but the frame could be convenient, lightweight and portable.  Just a thought...
