Hello I'm New here. was created by the magi (the magi)
I'm new to knight realms and me and my brother want to go to one of the events soon. We won't be able to go to the August event but it coincides with another LARP we attend semi regularly.
Once I start I'm going to be an Ogre Berserker.
I also have a question, how many ogres go to the events regularly?
Thanks.

Sure.
Looking at the ogre and berserker skill lists I think an Ogre is the perfect berserker, because you start off with +1 strength so you can already buy a bunch of things, and you an get another +1 strength for 8 build instead of 15 which will help in the long run to get berserker rage quicker, and you can buy the intimidation skill off the ogre skill list instead of waiting to be 5th level.

True. Ogres would be the best fighters except for magic damage doing double to them.

Just to warn you about the Ogre race... the yellow make-up is pretty tough to get off really well. The lighting in most of the bathrooms at the camps we stay in, you can't even tell if you have it on... and forget about your finger nails... I scrubbed them raw and they still had yellow around the edges... Now my ogre will always wear gloves.. even in the heat of summer..

Would yellow breathable contruction gloves be ok? I know some construction workers and other folks use these special gloves that are breathable material so their hands don't sweat/overheat while working in the sun/Summer hot months. Some come in safety construction yellow color.

not a KR player yet, but from experince with paint. Pay for the better paints Mehron and Ben Nye are two mid priced brands with whom I am very experinced I suggest either of these for their ease of remova. Liquid latex is also good for this. You can add a thin layer and then paint over it. It will remove very well.

If Sonya could comment, one of her friends came in as an ogre, and used a more golden like paint. he looked yellow, but didn't have that stained skin look afterwards.
Good cleaning and preparation always makes the make up look good and feel good.

Thanks everybody. I hoe the makeup I get are easy to get off. Also anybody who are ogres, what are suggestion and websites to get the best tusks from?
Also I'm coming in with my older brother who's also a veteran LARPer, he's going to be a goblin physician. He's going to be ridiculous and the two of us will be hilarious together.
I'm also really stoked because a week ago we made an awesome two-hander that we made to almost look like the ff9 Buster sword, ask me if you want pictures.

We have an NPC Goblin physician. If your brother is more ridiculous, I'll make you both dinner the next event on Friday. Its a big undertaking, but even if he comes up short (highly likely at first) entertainment is always appreciated.

Yeah I've seen the tusks from there already and they look great, but they're kinda pricy and would like to know any less expensive ones, because the costume stuff I'm planning on getting already costs like $240.www.dentaldistortions.com/ excellent selection, prices
