So far so good, but as a maker of said potions, I would highly recommend you choose Healing Salve over Potion of Lesser Healing.  Salves can be used on unconscious people rather than potions, which must be willingly consumed.

I am not a rules marshal, so what I'm saying is not absolute fact (until a rules marshal says so), but I have used healing salves on people who are in the Serious condition and revived them.  I have been told that you cannot use a potion on someone in Serious because they are unconscious and therefore cannot drink it willingly.

As to your question about use of healing powers, I recommend speaking to a rules marshal at game or looking in the Online Rulebook for more information.

You will have to get your character background approved by James (our intrepid Director), which will include things like where you are from, what is your favorite color, and why Orsk Nafar hates oak trees.  ;D

As was told to me (again, take this as one player to another, nothing official), don't claim stuff about your background until it's approved by James.  That way, if he says, no you cannot be the secret love child of Andorra and Count Winterdark, you don't have to suffer any embarassing moments explaining to other folks you were just kidding.

What Larry is saying is absolutely correct. A salve can be applied to an unconscious person while a potion must be consumed by a conscious person, unless you have a skill that lets you do otherwise, as is available on the Physician list.

The Isles of Sevenlore are a bit of an In-Game secret. It would not be acceptable to originate from them.

As a stock Human, you could come from anywhere in Kormyre without explicit approval. Any other point of origination would need an approved (by the Director) back story.

A few more things, when are SP given when I donate or at the end of the event? also, are SP converted to build at the beginning of the event or the end? And how much build can you spend on character creation? I have seen several conflicting things.

You can spend between 10 and 13 build, depending on whether or not you have service points and buy a build.  All the information you need on that can be found under "Determine your starting Build" here: www.knightrealms.com/component/content/a...ing-a-character.html

Service points are given to you at the time of donation.  When it gets converted is up to the discretion of the Character Card Officer, Sam.  He can correct me if I'm wrong, but I know he generally allows for build gained to be spent at that event.  So if you donate 200 SP worth of stuff, you should be able to spend that 2 build right then and there.

Please let us know where you've found "several conflicting things" so that we can clean up any typos / confusion.

i found something in the forums about being to spend 18 build at character creation but i just realized that was dated a long time ago. I was also wondering if the character creation section just hadn't been updated since the  build from service points per event was changed.

The new character rules do quite clearly state, as Skimmel said that you cannot spend more than thirteen build at character creation.  If you have accrued more than this, it must be saved for later.
