I'm Luis the all things kitchen guy. Welcome to Knight Realms, as Kelly mentioned there is no such thing as too late, except that you might want to stop of and have a nice dinner if you plan on arriving late, as any food we might have available will more than likely have been served.
Also if you bring any food stuff for the weekend and need storage I'll be the one you'll likely contact.

Sweet, You guys all rock. Everyone I have interacted with is so awesome. As Chris knows I am super excited about coming to this game. I am worried about the combat. My friends and I are good fighters and we are worried about getting rolled in fights due to our lack of abilities, and then after fights we are worried about paying for healing and armor repairs. Is this a rational fear or unwarranted?

Well, as a new player who is terrible, I can say that hasn't been my experience :lol:

Healing is rarely charged for, if ever. Armor repairs are specifically very cheap, and the majority of skill-based attacks don't damage armor - weapon hits are usually the main culprit. You're talking a few silver, unless you have over 100 Armor Points to repair.

As far as armor repairs and other considerations go, you could always try to hook up with an established group ahead of time. Post a brief description of your group (band of traveling minstrels, tribe of Barbarians, etc.) and see if anyone's got a group that would be a good fit for you guys. I have yet to meet a group in the game that won't help take care of their new members . Not only will this help with logistics (armor repairs, sleeping space, food, etc.), but it's a great way to meet new people and get involved with the game.
