Hello Knight Realms Family!

Hi there to this wonderful community!

I'm a new player coming this weekend for the May event with a few friends. I'm a long time LARPer, but first time Knight Realms-er.
I was hoping to find a description of legal and safe boffer arrow construction. I have a few already and building some more, but I'd like to double check they will be ready for game play. So if there is a link or page I've missed I would be much obliged.

Also, I'm bringing a few friends who have never LARPed before, they are very excited. I have one old short sword to lend them but I was hoping to ask for the generosity of the players or staff to lend them a couple of weapons for their first event? I'm sure they will be dying to build their own when game play is over. But right now we're weaponless and running out of time.

Hey there, welcome to the family! I have no idea how to help with your arrow issue, but I can tell you from experience that logistics can lend weaponry to your beginning friends. If not somehow, I'll be sure to bring my extra blade along.

Hello Becky! I'm Onca, a new player marshal. We are excited to have you and your friends join us.

In regards to weapons, at New player training on Friday, or during check in, marshals can check your weapons for safety. If you talk to logistics/marshals during check in and training we can see about lending weaponry. Just make sure they know they are responsible for returning it all at the end of the weekend.

Hey Becky. Conor here and I'm a NPM. Gus hit the nail on the head with the arrows and as was said we test and can lend weapons to new players.

Come see me as I am also a Logistics Marshal and can check your weapons, and sign some out for you.

I'll be one of the marshals at checkin.

I'm Sean also a New Player marshal and an archer in game. If you'd like I have some extra arrows I can let you borrow as long as I can get them back. I think I only have 3 or 4 but if you'd like they are yours to use (as long as I get them back )
