character idea

I'm new to the Knight Realms i have an idea for a character but i wanted to know if i can duel wield shields.Can someone tell me if i'm able to?

From the rulebook:

Florentine

Skill (Continuous)
This weapon use skill allows a character to wield two weapons simultaneously, one in each hand. One weapon may be of the One-Handed size category or smaller. The second weapon must belong to the Small Weapon size category. This skill also allows a character to fight with a weapon in one hand and a claw or fist (of the appropriate sizes) in the other, if the character is capable of fighting by those means.

Any Shield skill allows the player to wield one shield in on hand and a non-shield small weapon, one-handed weapon, bastard weapon, thrown weapon, or crossbow in the other hand, assuming they have the appropriate weapon skill.

Also from the Rulebook...

B) Shields – Any item designed to be held with one hand, to block incoming attacks. Shields can not deal damage, and do not require the skill Florentine to be used in conjunction with a weapon in the other hand.

If your concept has you trying to use a Shield as a weapon...

No, you can only wield a non-shield weapon in your other hand
