Hello, "new" player here (I've NPC'd twice now, but haven't played), I have a couple of questions about making your first PC.
Firstly, and probably most importantly, I want to make my character a Londwyn, but I notice that they're considered a capped race. Are they currently available for creation? And where would I go to find out what races are currently unavailable?
Second, as I am going to make an alchemist, how does one go about creating potions and firebombs and the like? I know the mechanics (Expend Craft points, roleplay creation for x time, know how to make the item in question), but do I need to then go down to logistics to get an item card, or can I carry blank cards and fill them out in the field? What if a friend is dying next to me and I want to make and then immediately use a healing salve to save him? Do I need to sprint back to logistics first?
Thirdly, how do I call and use a firebomb? Again, I know the mechanics (Deals 8 fire damage, costs 1 CP, delivered through packet). Do I call it "Firebomb, 8 Fire" or just "8 Fire"? When used, do I tear up the item card, or return it to logistics? Do I do it then, in the heat of battle, or can I save it for after the fight's over?
Fourth, switching gears a bit, how does a Smith acquire a forge? Do I purchase one, or can I make one (IG)? Does a forge need a physrep?
Finally, should I have posted this question-y rant in "Realizing the Character / Rules Questions"? If so, I apologize.

Hi Brian,
My name is Sean and I'm one of the new player marshals. I however don't think I'm the best to answer rules questions Im gonna leave it for a rules marshal to answer. That being said I'm bumping this post so a RM can answer it.

A fellow Londwyn alchemist? Spectacular!
Hello Brian, I'm Sarah! As far as roleplaying and physrep and such type questions, feel free to shoot me a PM or contact me on FB (if you're part of the Knight Realms group, you should be able to find me easily through the member list).
I will say that alchemists generally pick up a stack of alchemy cards appropriate to how much they can make in a period, so that as they RP making a compound, they can then write up the compound on the alchemy card.
I would be interested in hearing how logistics currently wants us to handle the used alchemy issue, so I'll wait to hear that.

Twice right an NPC! This means you as a player now understand the beauty of socks. Yes, excellent, quite right. I need not remind you of their glory and majesty.
Other than that, It looks like you're in good hands.
Welcome, and I look forward to roleplaying with your new PC! :)
