A lot of Roleplaying Questions

Hello everyone,

I am very excited about coming out to the October event. I have a background in theater and have been running and playing in table top RPGs for a very long time. I have always viewed the role playing aspect of gaming as more fun/important than the mechanical aspects. So while I've read through the rules to Knight Realms most of my questions are of a roleplaying nature as I try to figure out who Cade Tanwyn is going to be.

Can I post questions in here or is there a particular forum for roleplaying questions or is there a particular person I should ask?

I looked at the nobility page. Is the Baron the head of Travance?
How do most of the authorities view gypsies?
How do other races view gypsies?
Are there any main conflicts going on in Travance that are affecting the social community and gameplay?

And then any background info on gypsies that could help me form backstory/personality of my character.

I would say it depends on your PC's profession.

For example: If you're going to be RP'ing a rogue, the last thing you want is a giant thread detailing exactly how you're going to be a sneak master extrodinare.

I suggest talking to Conor first privately about what you're creating.
He could then point you towards a player who is in that class, race, etc, you're querying and who knows the minutia of role playing those aspects in the game.

However, if it's just RP in general, the people you want are probably the RolePlay Marshals. (I'm one of those!)

Thank you very much. I never would have guessed that socks were such a big deal so I appreciate the heads up. And I would never, ever steal from people. Gypsies have burn the victims of such negative stereotypes.If something does go missing though it was probably my brother Cael. Can't trust him at all...definitely wasn't me....
