Introduction and general questions

Good evening, all.
As the title of this thread says, this is an introduction of myself as well as a chance for me to ask a couple of questions. So, first the intro. My name is Miles Rodgers of New Jersey, and KR is going to be my first fantasy themed LARP. My other experience is with Dystopia Rising.
I am part of a group of three planning to do a tour of NPC duty this October, and had some questions about that.
As this is a 24 hour game, how do sleep cycles work for event NPCs? One of my group needs to maintain their current sleep cycle, for medical reasons. Is there a way to go about securing the time slots early?
Possibly a dumb question, but since timepieces and watches aren't exactly period items, how does an individual keep time?

Full time NPC's just ask if they ca go to bed when you feel the need to. (Usually the monster marshal will say yes).

Watches/time pieces are usually placed in pockets.

A Signature can be made by going directly into your profile, then down to the box that says "Your forum signature and OOG Name"

It is a 24 hour game, although there are times that are much less active, such as 5am - 9am. If you are NPCing there is no need to secure time slots, when you PC you need to sign up for them when you sign-in. In all cases we will be sensitive to medical requests. So when you guys do PC, just tell them to let the person signing them in know and we will try to accommodate.

A lot of people still carry thier phones, watches etc with them in thier pockets and check them discreetly when needed.
