New player questions about earned build was created by Skazzzbag (magicsqueegee)
Hi everyone, I just played my first event and had some questions about the build on my card. I NPCed the weekend because I'm hoping to debut Skazzzbag at the Week in the Life event, and my card doesn't have service points that I thought I earned. Who should I talk to for clarification on this?

The best person to talk to would be a card marshal -- if you have access to your online card there is a "Report a Problem" link and that will get you to the proper people.
Also, please put at least your real first name (or at least what you commonly go by) and last initial in your forum signature, it will really help us to get to know you better.

You can click the report a problem link in the card system. You can find that in the top corner of your character card

Another thing that could have happened, is your card hasn't updated yet.
Check the top left of the screen, it should say "Last update....."
If it's the Friday of the event or earlier, your card hasn't been updated.

I think that answers a question that I had been wondering about:
If I understand you correctly, updated cards from the prior event will start appearing about a week before the next event. Is that right?
(April was my first event and I had an absolute blast! I was hoping to be able to check out my updated card to see what my build/gold is before the rapidly approach May event.)

After your first event (that I'm glad to hear was a blast!), there should've been an e-mail automatically sent with instructions on how to log-in to the Cards System. Were you sent that?

I did not get that email but that's probably because Gina already had me entered in the system before I arrived on site. I already have a login and can view my card online.
However, the card hasn't been updated yet (and I'm hoping that I dropped off my physical card in the right box) so I've been checking every so often to see when it will update.

Don't feel bad. I get neurotic as time passes, and refresh sometimes 2-3 times a day, knowing full well it couldn't have been updated since the last time. Our card team is amazing, so have no fear.

Many cards are updated not long after an event ends, but sometimes it can take a while--and to be fair, we had a record number of players at the last event!
We all know the feeling, but if you can hold out until early next week, it should be updated by then.

Thanks guys, I'll just bide my time by planning increasingly elaborate character builds.
