Wasn't exactly sure where I could ask this but considering I'm still fairly new I thought here would work.

I'm currently looking at a shield size 16" x 20"
Would this be considered a small or medium shield?

Also, would this be something I should just use my build on or would it be a better idea to have someone teach me how to use it in game (assuming it is in fact something that can be learned)?

The shield is made of Latex and foam, which I naturally just assume is what it should be made of.

It would by the rules be considered a medium sized shield, however given its off by two inches larger one way and two inches shorter the other way we could see it and decide if you prefer.

If it's a latex one could you provide a link if you are planning on purchasing it? If you're making it, I understand you can't post pictures until it's nearly done.

As for the learning question, small shield can be learned by anyone for the cost of 3 build from commoner.

Medium and large shields are only available to certain professions.

If you want to just know it, or learn the skill as a lesson, I believe is best up to you to decide the RP of your character knowing how to use a shield.

^The link to the shield is above^

My class is a cavalier so all shield sizes are in my skill set if I wish to use to build on them. I just wasn't sure which size it would fit into because of the two inches either which way.
