There was a post a while ago about something similar in which this ruling was made:

If that still stands, wouldn't gripping a weapon with two hands while wearing a buckler render both the weapon as well as the buckler valid targets all the time? Taking your buckler-arm hand off the 2h would let you block with either weapon, but fighting would be effectively impossible.

If you have a shield in hand (or on it) , anything additional in the shield hand is considered a target in which you will take damage.
