First Event

Just wanted to say hello. I've been larping for a few years now and just recently made my way back to the Northeast. Myself and my brother (complete newbie) might be attending on Saturday.

I was wondering if you guys had "Tavern" food available, and if there was a menu posted somewhere?

Hi, Ryan!

Breakfast and--usually--lunch are served at the bar of the Dragon's Claw Inn on Saturdays. Occasionally, we have a drink menu floating around, but no food menus. It's one dish and you pay for it with in-game gold. Saturday night, there is a grand feast (usually around 6:30 p.m., but our kitchen staff are human) that's free.

If you have any other questions before (or during) the event, I'm one of the New Player Marshals here and it's our job to help you out.

I found out I mayb have 1 or 2 other newbies with me. Do you guys have extra weapons for first-timers?

The building where you'll sign-in to play is called Logistics. That's also where we send out NPCs (non-player characters) like monsters, merchants, and everything in between. Ask someone behind the desk if you can borrow a weapon and if there are weapons available, they'll write down on your card that you borrowed a weapon.

In addition to what Jeff said, other people will often have food for sale (or to share) throughout the weekend, especially during Saturday afternoon market fair.

Also, the food can be paid for with in game or out of game money (usually 2-5 depnding) so that if your character doesn't have in game money you aren't blocked.


If you have any particular food concerns allergies or issues, please let me or one of the other kitchen staff know and make sure it is put on your card under medical notes.
