I'm still in plague mode.  Water is a no go as well as energy drinks.  I blame no one, but if you folks don't hear from me in 24 hours, then my worst fear has been confirmed.  The zombie virus has been unleashed and is spreading.  I will not allow myself to become 1 of the undead and will take matters accordingly.

I became ill at about 8 am on Saturday morning and felt like death the rest of the event, including barely being able to drive home on Sunday ( Karen had to tell me where to point the car at times because I couldn't make out the road) but we got home OK. Just slept around 20 hours and am feeling a little better and hungry-ish, think I'll try a bowl of rice and some water just to be safe. Hope everyone else feels better!

Dan represents a vector that would cover almost everyone.  But I agree with Matt - let's blame Geoff.

Force water, even if it mostly comes up.  Ditto for salt replenishment.  Give my mother's remedy a shot as well and do not look down on those hot baths I mentioned as they will decongest, relax the muscles and be good in other ways.  If you are fortunate enough to have bath salts (one of my annual Hanukah gifts) it will sooth your muscles as well.

OK wow
I thought I was the only one feeling horrible at the end of the end of Sat. I knew some people were feeling it sunday, but I had no idea how wide spread this was
I am just coming off it now with my last visit to the cold floor of my bathroom. I also wanted to thank those who came in my hallucinatory state to see if I was alright monday morning even if you weren't really there.

It just hit me really hard.  I'm nervous to drink anything because I don't know if I can keep it down at the moment.  I thought the ache was from wearing chainmail all weekend, but I guess its this bug.  At least it didn't completely hit me on my birthday  ;D  A few hours of sleep followed by re hydrating is probably the best bet.  Good to see people are recovering!

"Plague!  Plague!  Didn't you hear?!  I'm not feeling so well..."

And so the Plague was foretold... see? maybe you should read the rumors more often!  ::) i still haven't come down with anything *knock on wood* and i'm usually the first person to get sick. Considering a was running off of like 7 hours of sleep over the course of 3 days (before KR) and had arrived at the event dehydrated, i'm surprised i made it out of there unscathed! But i'm glad diane that the mountain dew helped you out  ;D
