Anyone heard from Squeaks?

I know there was a few updates about her health during the event, but I don't want to post third-hand information - does anyone close to her have accurate news that they are allowed to share?

I know that Drew was sort of looking to keep the details of this a little more private.  So I will just say that she is still in the hospital, and knows that everyone is thinking about her.  She will have a long recovery ahead of her, and still faces some challenges, but I think she is doing at least a little better.  I'll contact Drew later, and see what he does and does not want known publically.

Alright, so she wanted me to update everyone.

She had appendicitis, her appendix has since ruptured and they have found an appendix stone in the remnants of her appendix.  They have her hooked up to two bags draining the infectious fluid from her body and she'll be on these bags for atleast 3 months before they can even think of doing surgery (excluding any emergency surgery).  She's doing good otherwise, she's up and coherent.  If you have any personal messages for her, just send them to me via PM, otherwise feel free to send well wishes on this post, or else call my cell, or else her phone since she's apparently allowed to keep it.

Oh wow I had no idea.  News filters slowly to me over here.  Let her know that Joe sends her his best wishes and hopes that she gets well soon.
