A lot of folks here draw and are very handy with a brush.  I know some of you have desires to design your own custom LARP gear for weapons, armor, and other stuff.  Others of you just like to design for yourselves.

Here are some free art/drafting CAD (computer assisted design) applications for you to peruse and download if you feel like it.  I use 1 of these things for when I try to figure out how to do new things with glow wire, LED lights, and other effects for boffer weapons.  Also helps in what folks wanna customize and make when you get your gear or send the picture/schematic to the person making it.

I believe there's also a version of SketchUp that's free from google's collection of apps.
