We generally don't announce it because it results in people making comments, etc. that really don't help, and / or leaving the game to go eat, which kills the atmosphere. ("Where did all of Pendarvin go?" "Out to the Diner...")

If you have a legitimate medical / dietary need, drop a PM to Luis (Quan Liu), and he will handle it for you as the Kitchen Deputy.
