Mordecai supposedly wrote the original book. It was later extended by additional authors. Other than that I really don't have the time to research this. I read quite a bit of Jewish history over the course of six months in a class but I had never heard of this one. Maybe if I hadn't failed religion class in Catholic school all those years, I might know more about the bible now.
