When in battle, I often think of the only two works ever scored for cannon and musket, Beethovan's Wellington's Victory and Tchikovsky's 1812 Overture. I love the classics. When walking to a mod, I can think of nothing better than Moussorsky's Hall of the Mountain King.

It's stuck in my head pretty much everyday.

1812 is always a good choices. I have ideas for more of my character's mood. But Black Aria by Glenn Danzig is what I have playing when I am doing work.

I think Mallaidh and Cyric's song is, without a doubt, "Mari-Mac" by Great Big Sea:

"Mari-Mac's mother's making Mari-Mac marry me, my mother's making me marry Mari-Mac..." Too perfect!

I think a good song for Mallaidh herself would be "The Women of Ireland" by the Chieftains:

No words but it just captures her spirit, I think.
