Sleep Not Needed?

The above link is for a scientist's theory that animals only need sleep to stay out of trouble. The less meat you eat, the less sleep you need, the more active you are, etc.. etc..

So, the best survivability is for a person or animal to NEVER sleep and keep going. Now we know why some LARPers do better staying up all hours than others do.

Ha, awesome. I especially liked the example of they used of the bat. One of those, "Oh, hey, that makes sense!" moments.

But, unfortunately for us, that may not be possible :'( Without sleep we start to hallucinate (and for some reason I find this both hilarious and awesome), and may even die

Player of the month goes to J.P. DeSantis. When we needed people to help clean up after the feast, he stepped right up and worked his tail off until Jeramy insisted he go to logistics to prepare for main mod. When offered his choice of compensation, he elected to get his camp cleanup assignment signed off rather than get SP or IG money. And then on Sunday, he showed up for cleanup hold and asked us what he could do. I'm pretty sure if you wanted a clearer definition of the word selfless, you'd be out of luck.
