That can be arranged :) As a life long affionado regarding full armor kits I completely agree, its just awesome to see but even more so to wear! I've spent many years adapting the real deal type stuff to larping, when I didn't wear the real stuff that is, heh (back before the grey hair started to emerge lol). But the knee's aren't what they used to be, nor the lungs. Even so, no need to wear 40-60 lbs of armor in a larp. You can wear a fraction of that and still look like its over 80 1bs of work. I've got a custom stainless chruberg 13 style breast/back plate being made now that uses some tricks to make it far more managable and wearable.

BTW, I love the host of that show. That guy knows his stuff and he's been in a number of shows (like Weapon Masters, but he's been seen plenty of History Channel programs) that dismiss many myths about ancient weapons and armor.

I am more impressed the guy could do push-ups and cartwheels all ready.  I can't do that stuff WITHOUT armor on.  I don't wanna think of trying to do it with armor on.  :)

I am happy running around in my leather vest... despite my love of armor for larps and trying to find a site/maker who can make the type of armor I would like/love to own... my own fat, flabby self is happy wearing what I have and learning instead how to block weapons with my weapon/shield and hoping I have enough defenses/Body to make it through.

Well you have to realize that any fighter of the early years say 1940 back was pretty much tougher then your average person today. We do a lot of sitting and laying just ask Terry. But they were not weekend warriors like us. There lives and other lives depending on them doing their jobs...like a military hmmmmm.
