Judge is still a vampire

Little known fact.  Smelling  is the MOST associative sense the human mind uses.  When color is forgotten and images fade scent remains.  It doesn't surprise me that a scent took you down memory lane.  I'm just glad you took the time to share it here.

Sadly I will not make this weekends event but you made me VERY nostaligic right along with you and... I know the scent you got because my long time away on occasion I'd get hit with something similar too.

Saddle soap and hay reminds me of Willy my first owned horse and I tear up every time. 

Leaf litter on a damp morning gets me to remeber some early moring or very late night KR.

I know ive said it a million times but its the players that make the game as good as it is. Ive been very fortunate over the years in that regard.

Also, it pained me to miss the banquet last year, but we'll certainly have it this year, and for those of you who are too new enough to not have had the opportunity, its not an event to miss.
