Be aware that unless the skulls are from birds that are domestic or can be legally hunted, it is illegal to possess any part (bird, nest, feather, egg) of any migratory bird--and that's most of them. The Migratory Bird Protection Act was passed in 1917 (or thereabouts) to stop the wholesale slaughter of birds, mostly for women's haberdashery fashion.
