Question about a damaged latex weapon. was created by Cedric Moss (mastermike)
So I have an awesome bastard sword that was damaged from the sun, and when I tried repairing it, it only made matters worse. I'm wondering if it would be cheaper to have the sword repaired, than it would to replace the 160 dollar weapon all together. To repair it, the entire blade would need to be removed from the core, a new identically cut foam piece placed on the core, new latex covering, and new paint would all need to be added. There are pictures on my facebook if anyone wants to see what I'm referring to. I just really love this sword, and do not want to have to get rid of it. Does anyone know a person who could do this for cheap? Or should I just replace the sword all together?
