QUIZ was created by geezer (geezer)
Its been two years since my last quiz (won by Jackie).
This time, I decided to try to come up with one that is at least semi-Google proof. I am certain you guys will let me know.
I am so confident that no one will get them all, that if anyone does, they can invite a guest. No collaborating on your honor. Answers should be sent to me via PM. Winner gets treated to dinner at the "good" restaurant.
Quiz
1 – Captain Langsdorf commanded Graf Spee.
Explain the significance of the circumstances and setting of his death.
2 – The Deutchland class has been historically called “pocket battleships.” Explain. Include why Deutchland was renamed as well as the new name
3 – Provide the context to the phrase "The wife of Caesar must be above suspicion. I've told this a few times at Sac.
4 – In her brief active career, Battleship Bismarck lived at the margins of high improbability. Explain.
5 - How might history been changed had Moses Miamonides consented to be the personal physician of Richard II? His reply when asked is also a gem. Bonus points if provided. (reasonable paraphrasing is acceptable)
6 – Upon whom was the first recorded autopsy performed?

Vince, you probably recall me boring you to tears with the recounting of these. 4 have not appeared here before, unless I am gently slipping into senility as well as grouchy old age.

All repeats, though I wouldn't say you'd bored me, since I remembered the answers from 3 years ago. At the time, the only one I missed was the one about Miamonides.
