Anyone looking to help some people in need? was created by Woolsey Bysmor (Osred)
We have a ton of people who have lost their homes in the district I teach in, and if anyone wants to help, they can really use it. We have finally evolved our support network to where I can actually tell people where they can send supplies to. Below is a copy and paste of what I have on my Facebook.
Thanks for listening
Some people from both in state, and out of state have asked what they can do to help the families and students who are in need. Right now we have a great synergy of community effort going on, but they can always use more.
If you are interested in sending supplies you can mail them to:
OLPH/Camp Bulldog
210 S. Wellwood Avenue
Lindenhurst, NY 11757
What they need is: cleaning supplies, diapers, band-aids, hair products, baby supplies brand new toys, blankets, volunteers
For those who are in need:
OLPH is open from 9am-12 noon and 3-6 for food, water, clothing, and blankets.
OLPH is also open from 6am-9am for breakfast and 6pm-9pm for coffee and a light snack.
Don't think it is too late to help. We will likely still need your help through out the winter.
