Is your displayed name supposed to be your IG name or your OOG name?

I remember (or at least I think I remember) it saying when I made my profile it should be my OOG name, but I see so many people with their IG names as the displayed name, I don't know which it's supposed to be.

It does not matter in long run what your display name is. It could be "Poop" if you wanted (but ye might get a request to change it though. )

HOWEVER, you should have a signature on the bottom for posting purposes.

Just a reminder, do not answer rules questions if you are not an appropriate Marshal.

That being said, some people will use their IG name, some do not. I use my OOG name because I have multiple characters, and only one account. As long as you have at least your OOG first name and either last initial or last name in your signature that is enough.

The irony of pointing out that you must have your OOG name/initial at the bottom of your post, and also not having it in that post, is not lost.
