Acceptable tents for KR was created by Theron B (SilasArgent)
I was just wondering if there are any guidelines as to what tents could be brought to the event. If so links to tents fitting said tent would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, Theron!
First off, welcome to Knight Realms!
Any tent is usable. Since we strive for immersion, we encourage people to keep brand name and more modern things (cell phones, bottles of Gatorade, etc.) out of view. However, there are two places on the Camp that come to mind whatever type of tent you plan on bringing to an event: the Caravan field and the Ostcliff fields. Needless to say, you likely don't recognize either of those phrases but there will be a group of New Player Marshals like myself around the main areas of Camp on the Friday nights of events. If you need us to help you find either of those places, or any other on Camp, let us know.
Canvas tents, you can place just about anywhere so long as you're not blocking a path or setting it up somewhere unsafe.

Scrolling down quite a bit, I can say that most of those pictured would pass muster.
If you have any more questions, related to tents or otherwise, feel free to post. The game can be in-tents sometimes.

In addition to the listed areas to put up a tent, Oft times the area near the Guard Barracks is used which is also known as Tower Field.
There are also areas in the various groves of trees where a tent may be set up (tho anything bigger than a 4-6 man dome might have issue...).
If you need assistance finding a SAFE spot in a tree-line or grove to set up, I can help you out with locating something suitable.

Another option, though the tent will get hot. Is to put it inside an already set up tent to hide it. We have tent platforms that have Girlscout tents on them. Most up to 8 man tents should fit fine on the platforms. With it covered, you wouldn't need the rainfly as well as stakes would also not be needed and the modern tent will be covered up.

A very clever idea!
Another clever idea is to bring bug spray, speaking as someone who stayed in one of those tents with a friend of mine a couple years back.

slick idea.... but most of the tents do get used so this is not the best idea.
