As most of you know by now I had an accident on Saturday night. It was a strange moment and I find I have gaps in the memory of what actually happened; however, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the people who rushed to my aid and the prompt, immediate action while controlling and coordinating the mass to another location making it easier to transport me out of the area was impressive to me.
I've never doubted the feeling of community and the sense of family which is only strengthened by this incident. I would also like to thank you all for your concern after the fact...
At this time I'm recovering fine. I'll have to stay off my feet for a few weeks..
I urge everyone to take every precaution to stay safe, bring water, wear weather appropriate clothing, as well as good comfortable foot gear.
