In need of Body Removal?

Your Gravedigger will be present this moon, as the summer months come my work become less. We can all agree that is a good thing.

I look foward to seeing you all.

Glad to have gotten a chance to come back to Travance.

Some of my kin were confused about their loyalties, and some town members forgot where theirs noses should not be. But what can one do. For the beatings I recieved from two Khitan....you are forgiven. For the Gypsies who crossed the line and betrayed your own people pain and death will come when due.

See you all next moon.

Radu,

You are no Gypsy.  Your actions prove this.  Do not presume to speak as if you are one of us.

These are not the gypsy trails, be warned any attempt to shed blood on the streets of Travance proper will be met with the full weight of the law. All of this talk of pain, death, consequences and caravans at crossroads have the makings of a riot.
We are not savages, Kings law is in place for a reason.
Truth uncovers all while Justice is swift and unforgiving.

Everywhere the roads run are the Romani's trails.

There is no need for the guard to be concerned.  Romani
are a civilized people, not some sort of foreign savage.  Do not
be worried, I swear we will follow the law of our King.

Who's King? Your king or the King of Kormyre? There is but one King in these lands and one King's law. Any violation of it will be dealt with swiftly.

Did select members of the town not just donate items to the Romani King to lift the curse of the Dopplegangers and the Curse on the Tellinghast family?

Travelers,

If you wish to write missives fit for our Baron and our King's eyes, you will write in the language of our King.  Any missive written in your own devilish language will be removed.

Oi Romani Cousins,

Look, I know I'm no noble, but it appears that laundry of a rather personal nature has been aired out in public.  The metaphorical undergarments that are Gypsy problems are best left where they always have been, in the caravan.  Lord Abendroth is right, this is Kormyre and King Alaric of the aforementioned empire is the sovereign of concern, though I suspect it is this very matter to which Paetros refers; we are to obey the laws of the lands we travel, to show them, as Paetros so eloquently put it, that the Romani are a civilized people.  Perhaps we could bring all the Romani together this coming moon and talk on this matter, try and clear up such ill will as we always have, around the campfire with a Patriarch such as Paetros to ensure civility.  There is no need for anything short of calm, collected thoughts and words.  Should the situation bear further scrutiny once all details are understood, then it should be brought to a noble ear.  Does this suggestion sit well with everyone?

Lord Abendroth and other respected members,

To use your language, it would seem there is some inference to words I have
not written instead of the words I have written.  These lands, have they but one
King?  I do not claim to completely understand the traditions of your people, but I do
understand that claiming to be a noble when you are not is a punishable crime.  I
would assume that claiming to be King in these lands would be considered treason.

The Romani, the gypsy, handle our issues with words and our minds instead of
barbarism.  If these be the Kings lands, then our ways will never be seen to break
the laws of the King.

And as to removing missives that use our native tongue, there shall be no need or worry.
From this moment forward, we speak of this subject no longer in such an open written
means.  We will take care of our matters in our own tongue away from the eyes of King
and country.

Lord Abendroth, the King I refer to is in fact the sovereign we all serve King Alaric and the law I have taken an oath to uphold in these lands. My apologies if I was not clear when I said, blood will be met with the full weight of the law; and by that I meant the sovereign law of our King Alaric.

Quan Liu -

It was not against your words that I posted, but in support of them. I know you as a stalwart guardsman and I would not presume to question your loyalties. You were on the right of this matter from the start.

Paetros -

I thank you for clarifying any possible hidden intent behind your words. There are many men that lay claim to the title of King (the "King" of the dragoons, for instance), and many who claim to serve these men, but Kormyre recognizes only one King of her lands. It pleases me to see you were not claiming otherwise, and I trust you to settle this matter amicably.

To all the rest of the smallfolk -

This matter is done and I will not hear more on it.
