To all of my friends and students,
I regret to inform all of you that my cousins Brother Bran and Brother Bjorn as well as myself will not be in the Proper come the September festivities. We just recieved a missive from home last night that was delayed because of the war. My grandmother, our kin, died not three weeks past and we are traveling home to Kirkwall to pay our respects to her cairn. I apologize to all of my students that I won't be there to train with you this moon and my friends that I won't be able to share a pint with you. We will return in time for the feast in October though. I hope to see all of you still upright and well when we return.

Seamus,
My condolences for your Grandmother. While I enjoy the company of your cousins and yourself, please do not rush back if you are still grieving. Take all the time you need.

Dear Seamus,
I'm sorry to hear of your grandmother's passing, but I am sure that you and your clan will be doing all you can to see her on her way to her rest with Galladel. I hope you find your family otherwise well and safe. Please wish them well for me, too.
Your friend,
Na'ar Chacov
