Hiring

Hello and greetings and salutations!

I am looking to hire two or three guards to do a little walking smithing in coming feastdays. I'm not looking for someone who rightfully have larger obligations. (For example, the Guard is very good here, and I wouldn't want to disturb their discipline with my own schedule.) Someone's who's willing to do a fighting retreat if it comes to it, and who don't really know a whole band of other people that could secretly conspire to consider doing unfortunate things to someone who moves slowly and hopes to be earning some coin along the way.

Being a member, I've asked for some guidance from the Merchants' Guild, but the recommendations weren't very clear.

I think fair pay could be about a gold or two per hour? But is probably negotiable, or - even better - paid in service(s), instead. Hopefully, the trips will be boring. So, if you can sing, that could also be nice.

I would be more than willing to help you out on this venture, especially if there will be other more experienced mercenaries present. I'm still rather green when it comes to the bodyguarding business, but at least I've been told I make good conversation!
