Wotcher,
Over the past week, one Mister Valentine Graye tragically passed away; slain by a band of these "demons" whilst defending a group of townsfolk.
Many of you may remember Mister Graye in his capacity as the director of the Purple Thistle Trading Company, always glad to provide fair and honest prices for his wares, and even offering his skills as an appraiser for free to his returning customers. His stall was more than just another trading counter, being instead a lively hub for merchants to socialise and trade - Market Faire will simply not be the same without him, and his caring and gregarious nature will be sincerely missed.
At the upcoming Yuletide festival, I would like to hold a short commemorative gathering on his behalf at 4 bells after midday. Any and all who knew Mister Graye are invited to join us by the lakeside, and are welcomed and encouraged to share their memories of him.

I'll be there. He was very kind to me, in the brief time I knew him, and I always liked him.

I didn't know him for long either, but I regret not being able to work with him longer. I'll be there.

Based on the threads of fate and information about other people, I believe Valentine is not gone for good. I will not be at the festival, but if I have any news by then I will send it.

*NOT WINKS*
Mister Haroldson is stating a figure of speech common in both Londwyn and Kormyre, where works of operatic stage theater are performed. It is customary that the final, climactic, and highest notes are sung by a rather...rotund woman in elaborate costume. This gave rise to the statement of the "fat lady singing" being one of finality.
From this you can take that Mister Haroldson's posting means we do not know yet whether or not Mister Graye is gone for good. I do hope this helps you, Mister Eirson.

Wotcher,
You'll have to forgive me, I'm a little confused... To my knowledge, Mister Graye was pronounced dead by a guardsman late last week.
This is an incredibly sad time for us, and - if I might say so - for me personally. Therefore, if it's no trouble to you, I'd very much appreciate it if you could share your thoughts on the matter in an unambiguous manner. If my information is inaccurate, and Mister Graye still lives, then please make it known - otherwise, I wish to begin grieving his loss. I am simply too exhausted to entertain anything other than absolute certainty.
Thankyou.

Goggs,
I don't believe things simply because someone announced it. Especially in a time of chaos and confusion.
If you are too exhausted to entertain anything other than absolute certainty, I have nothing for you. I base my opinion on information gathered from the masters of Vague and the fact that at least one other report of death was wrong.
Make your plans. Mourn if you must. But I for one would sooner wait for more certainty of his death.
