The Travance Chronicle is seeking submissions for our next issue. The theme for May is Spirituality. Please note: this issue will be published at the Summer Festival which commences on May 28th. The Chronicle will not be published for the Baronial Feast in May.
Spirituality: an individual's connection to what lies beyond the physical world. Some consider spirituality to be any activity - physical, emotional, or institutional - that leads towards greater perfection. Others may limit it to matters of a divine nature. At any part of the spectrum, though, spirituality says that even if you think you're limited and small it simply isn't so.
In addition to our usual solicitation for reports on the goings-on of Travance, poetry, and artwork, we'd like encourage you to write about spirituality. This theme is very flexible and we encourage varied interpretations of the subject. Almost everyone has experienced spirituality, and we would like to hear how it has touched your life.
We will still consider other submissions that are not part of this theme. Compensation for work that we publish is 10 gold per work, and the Barony considers it additional service to the common good ((OOG: 400 SP per article, and build for consistent contributors)).
Please send your submissions to Amizar Wuzwhir, care of the Travance Chronicle. The deadline is May 21, 1214.

Some of you have inquired as to whether you might have an extension; if there are other contributors out there who feel they need the free time at the end of the work week to complete their submissions, you have until Monday. We cannot accept anything later than that, or the typesetters and press operators will not have enough time to print the paper before the extended feast.
As a side note, while we usually edit down for size, we will likely not do so this time, so do not worry about the length of your submission.
Best,
Lois Maxwell
