The Inn will provide breakfasts all four mornings of the extended feast. The proposed meals are:
Thursday - Sausage, gravy and bisquits
Friday - Egg sandwiches with side meat
Saturday - Pancakes and fruit with side meat
Sunday - Egg sandwiches with side meat
The cost will be the usual 3 gold
We plan on serving during the usual time, from roughly 0900 to 1030. If the staff can be there to prepare your food, and you cannot make it during those times, do not expect to be fed.
Those of you who have baronial duties at 1000 will be fed as per usual, with the taskmaster telling us how many meals and us arranging either for pick up or delivery by 10 AM. We need to be informed as to the number of people by 0930 to assure your food arrives on time.

**Not Caelvan**
I'm glad I never stay through to breakfast in the Proper. The fact that a simple Egg Sandwich with 2 strips of bacon cost as much as I paid to have both my weapons made is ridiculous.

If one golden coin can feed a family for a month, then a simple meal containing eggs and two pieces of meat had better be truly sumptuous. And indeed, many adjectives could be applied to the breakfasts at this inn. Sumptuous is not one of them.

Perhaps you need to spend more time in Travance Proper, as it is not unusual for one small sugary treat to cost one gold. Indeed, I myself have sold a small pan of dense chocolate squares for the equivalent of 80 gold.
If you find you dislike market prices, I suggest you find a way to influence them. Cheap swords can be crafted in less time than a decent breakfast and thus will cost less. I suggest you consider the cost and demand for bacon. Many will pay treble for the tasty richness of this cut. However, I will agree that a quality sword should be worth more than breakfast. If your swords cost less you were either lucky, the beneficiary of charity, or cheated. I would be happy to assist you in evaluating your metal.

One need only remember one thing in regards to the expense of goods; for those of us who can afford the luxury to not be held fast to our labor on the weekends of feast, a thing is worth what it's purchaser will pay for it. I'm sure the public would be happy to have an option in early day meals that doesn't cost two months wages. Perhaps if someone felt an entrepreneurial calling they could stand to make themselves some coin...
