Greetings and salutations, ladies, gentlemen, and all other folk of Travance!
I am currently attempting to do some research on the former Barons (and Baroness) of Travance. Firstly, if any one is able to, I would like a full recounting of their names somewhere underneath this letter.
Secondly, I was not here for when many of them held the title of "Baron". Most, in fact. As such, I am also requesting any information on said barons. This means any stories. Little tidbits of good times spent with them, sure enough, but also their political stances, battles fought, deaths suffered, the like.
We've been here and carved out our niche for many a year, and while we've not been here for even a century, I am certain the trials and tribulations we've suffered and overcome could certainly fill a good tome. My point being is that we have a colorful history already, yet there are some in town who know not who our past rulers have been - and if then, we are unable to recount the actions of our leaders past, with all of their triumphs and failings, then how are we able to progress forward to learn from their mistakes and emulate their successes?
I cannot do this alone. I can't see into the past. Travance, I am calling you to assist me on this matter.
Sincerely,

Old friend,
There's even less knowledge in my noggin about barons and baronesses than there is about warlockery, and I know extraordinarily little about the latter. That said, I will scour the scholar's table with you and share whatever relevant morsel I'm able to find. You ought to find me there anyway, since I should be assisting our friend Annora there as well, with yet more research.

You are missing the short lived Baron Corum, if we are trying to be as accurate as possible.

I hate to sound rude, but you accidentally put Baron Klarington Everest in your list twice, unless something happened that is common for Travanse but strange anywhere else.
Also my friend you already know Baroness Hartwood well, however I do have a few stories I could tell about Baron William Montgomery. However I would request you find me in person as I believe it rude to tell tales of the (possibly/unsure) dead over public parchment.

Klarington is there twice because of a a snag in his presence. Read the baronial library for more info.

Dominic,
Do not worry about Lord Montgomery's current state. Trust me and trust his fighting ability along with his wits that he is still alive. If anything was to have happened to him, there would surely be news around town. I'm sure he is doing well. I just hope he can visit some time.
And of course, like you and like many, there are plenty of stories to tell about Montogmery. He was an interesting man whose virtues are not commonly found nowadays.

My profound thanks to all those who have given information regarding the aforementioned topic!
I will admit, though, I am quite intrigued that people are hesitant about bringing up the actions of our former leaders. I would think that trying to keep an accurate record of those who so influenced Travance is something worth doing - even more so if it's writ in verse!
And even if there are people out there who would prefer not to see things written, that's hardly reason to hem and haw in regards to creating works that combine both verisimilitude and aesthetic. There are shadows aplenty in this world, there is no need to create more.*
And not to worry! If you're worried about my well-being threatened by said people trying to put a knife in my back, words stay alive despite how easy it is to burn both parchment and would-be-assailants.
Sincerely,
Sindarion Sinclair
*Unless, of course, they happen to combine both versimilitude and aesthetic.
