normal An Odd Question

An Odd Question was created by Ilana Darkwood (Ilana_Darkwood)
Hello Everyone,

Sorry to bother you, I don't usually make public notices, but I have to ask:

Is anyone else being followed around by snakes or any other group of animals that won't let you approach?

Please, let's not tease me too much publicly about this. I've been dealing with enough nonsense the past couple of months.

Thanks.

Illana,

I have not been, but I would be happy to try and talk to them for you, if you think it would help.

Are they natural looking snakes? Or do they look sickly, or is something different than an ordinary snake?

Gothi Caldor,

If you can get close enough, sure. They're quite the shy bunch and I can't get a clear cast myself with that druidic. I'll let you know if they seem to be around still by feast...

Ser McKraegar,

This only started today, they look normal enough. But if I get a proper look, I'll let you know. Out of the ordinary: it's a group of snakes following me around.

Honestly, if they're friendly I plan on just feeding them.

Nah. Scorpions once, but that was different entirely. Maybe you're going stone cold bonkers.

From a purely practical standpoint, you live near a volcano, and it is getting colder. In all likelihood they are simple snakes seeking nearby shelter and warmth as to not die come the frost.

However if they start leaving messages with their tails or spewing acidic saliva then I might be inclined to suggest seeking metaphysical consultation.

Nalick,
I don't think they're that kind, but when I get a better look I'll let you know.

Captain Hayes,
I made one request that you had to neglect. I am somewhat surprised considering past interactions.

Ser Jack,
I suppose I live near enough to the volcano. Except they're following me around here.

I usually have drakes following me around....that's not unusual for me, though.
If Caldor is unavailable, I should be able to help you out with talking to them as well, particularly if they're being shy and won't allow you to approach.
Perhaps a silly question, but have you been able to ascertain that they're actual snakes, as opposed to some sort of illusion, divine manifestation, or something else weird?

No... the Travancian Way when dealing with someone who has the same number of limbs as you is either you welcome them with open arms, buy them a drink, & maybe have them join your land. Or you kill them.

Please keep your replies on topic and related to the original posting. Ilana is looking for assistance to a potential problem, and anyone with additional knowledge about this "snake" issue should come to her aid.

Ilana, I do not know how much more help I could be than one as knowledgeable as Caldor, but I will do what I can if it's needed.

Its my own fault for asking the populace De Squire Brand. Thank you though.

I think I answered a variation of the same question a few times. Like I haven't done this sort of thing before. I'll just settle this on my own.

To those who offered proper assistance: I'll seek you out if needed. Thank you.

Lord knows I love just about any story that starts off with "Okay this is weird but...."

I lack any specific knowledge on the subject, but I know a few tales, and based on that I could see evil druid, or snake monster. You may be secretly a princess and have the power to attract woodland creatures to assist you. Were you singing at the time?

We are approaching All Hallow's Eve, so we could look at ghost and spook stories. Perhaps some kind of werewolf or vampire with the power to command animals?... could have been spooked or possessed by spirits crossing over? Either way, I'm quite game to find out, count me in!

Also because you were concerned about joking responses, and since I'm new and when I meet new people they think I'm some how making these comments in jest (no idea why), there are legitimate suggestions and offers of help.

If it's snakes, I'm going to say it's probably either druidic, or Glomm-related.

Adding color to an otherwise dreary world is my rasion d'etre. But Gold Finch spoke rather highly of you Doctor, and he was not wrong. I appreciate that you were prepared to set any misunderstandings straight yourself. Anyone willing to attend to their own business and... Illana,

Although I do not have proper knowledge on snakes, I have heard rumors that they can be considered good luck ; all depending on the perspective and your situations.
I know you have been busier then normal this past summer so maybe they are their to help guide you somehow.
I know it sounds silly, but hopefully they are a positive thing for you.
