Often the words we use lose meaning over time. Evernight is an entire continent of evil and corruption. Not just the undead. Unholy supernatural powers from all walks of life exist there. So if Telegrim marches upon us. Assume the worst. Assume he's utilizing every weapon at his disposal to get his wife back. I know I would. And it's not just the Discordians or the Pentir, The Council or the Oubliette could be involved. Undead are the least of our worries. Worry about men with swords made of the weave, or tarot cards, or mortal hunters, or the shadows rending your mind inside out and making you kill your friends. But don't think for a moment we will just be dealing with throngs of skeletons and zombies. Those are merely the pawns to watch what we will do. To wear us down until they are done toying with us and actually decide to fight.

No matter what we encounter, we will have to be who we are. Some of us may find our courage fail and be tempted to flee what comes, without fully knowing what we face. For the rest of us however, we will do what we must this Feast, as we always have and as I daresay always will.

The coming days may find us tested, even perhaps in ways bested by these invaders. The War is never won or lost in a single battle, so never think one loss equals defeat.

For many of us our fate is simple. Look to your Lords, stand by the Knights of our Barony. Defend those weaker, support those who are strong. Assist the commoners who are in harms way. Consider these as, if nothing else, your way to contribute this Feast.
