New ways are born from the old going back through time. The more things change the more they remain the same yet drift to true change is exactly why the Anastasi sought to remove everything into the nothing of the Null. Both times!

What we have won is time! I spoke to the Ladies before they left. They believe it will be generations of our lives before we see any concerted effort to negate everything again. Preserving what we have learned gathering the past and the present to contnue must be done. Adding to what we know is critical and not allowing generations to forget is a mission.

As to the future please remember the cultures that came together did so for world survival. The root conflicts remain. They will not be resolved by the continuance of life alone. Its going to be hard work over time to resolve things and many hands make light work. Many varied hands with different cultures is what Travance is...and always will be. In its early days Travance was described as a melting pot and truly the mixture has brought forth some very interesting results.

And it will continue to do so.

It is very good to hear from you. I had hoped to find you here when I returned to Travance.

If you can ever spare the time to speak with a novice Mage such as myself, I would love the opportunity to learn what I can from a Master Sorcerer such as yourself, even on trivial topics.

This "shooting the breeze" phenomenon you mortals partake in is so unfamiliar to me, but I have found it quite enjoyable to have such repose among friends. Perhaps, if time matters so little, for you, friend, you could join us over some ale, or a fine Dwarven Stout.
