Regarding the Amber Path

I've heard it mentioned, and I'm not much of a religious man. But, I currently am interested in it. Would anyone be willing to teach me the process and perhaps some history of those who transcended it or whatever the proper term is?

I'll be at the Winterdark Ball and am willing to pay.

I'm sorry, but my duties with rebuilding the Church Mission would preclude from my attendance of this year's ball. I would be able to communicate by missive.
This information is pretty much common knowledge to those who are of a religious bent. I'm just curious as to why you would be interested in this knowledge. Would it be for yourself, or perhaps that you seek to pass this knowledge on to others (or another) who might be interested in achieving the power of a god? A fair question...
