Urgent seeking of information was created by Narcis (ChrisR)
After the heroic but devastating loss of Cennius in the Chaos Wastes to Necrophitus, I found myself with a piece of paper containing a song. When I read it the first time I was able to hear a tune.

I have been told that this is something that has happened before. If anyone is currently in possession of information on this topic I politely beg for you to give it to me so I may see how this song plays into this. He personally gave me the paper before he sent about a quarter of the town back to Travance to save us from Necrophitus.

I will pay if I need to.

Leliana,

We spoke briefly on Friday night, but we can speak more at length. My understanding is that you possess one of the two remaining Erdani songs; the fact that you describe an intuitive knowledge of the melody is a strong indicator. I'm trying to deepen my own understanding of them as well.

I take it you haven't sung it yet?

I have not sung the song yet as the melody was very new to me. I do plan on trying to sing it in December however and would be more than willing to talk with you at length as there are a few others who are trying to learn more about them as well.

Wren,

While I am unsure how successful we may be in researching this particular topic I would actually really love assistance on a myriad of other topic I need to research. I will be spending a lot of time in December reading and you are welcome to come help and get involved with any of it!

I'd be happy to assist; reading a good book while sipping one of Wili's butter beers is a fabulous way to spend a winter afternoon.

Leliana-

Lois has offered myself access to existing research on the songs, and if you would like I will reach out to her to share the same information with you.

Cara,

Lois has previously contacted me, that said, I am currently looking over those notes and making opinions on them and would be grateful to have more eyes to look over my ideas and concepts at the next feast. If you will be around, I will be busy in books most of the feast and would love to be able to meet with as many people who are involved to see if we can figure some things out. I did not know these songs existed until recently and would like to see if anyone who has known about them longer could give some feedback and perhaps work to see if we cannot find the other songs or figure out what exactly is happening.

Devariatus spoke to a small number of us in June and said that we would find and sing two more songs. If there are more unsung ones beyond yours and Starling's, I am unsure, as he did not mention them.

Lois and I combined purple and orange strands with Maeve's singing and other bardic influences to locate the one song Starling has. Perhaps we can find out if there are more out there in a similar fashion. I would love to sit and discuss this further with you at the next feast.

Squire Tartaros,

That name. Devariatus. It's screaming in my head, I know I know it from somewhere but cannot recall who that is. Could you refresh for the purposes of knowing who is in the know on this topic?

Mantel-

Certainly, I should have clarified further in my prior missive. Devariatus is the Dark Arani. He had spoken to us about a number of topics, the songs being one of them.

As I will bring up at the meeting when we gather, I am particularly interested in knowing how many people who have sung a song knew about the event it was referring to when they sung it.
