A proposal of my own

Travance, in this time of conflict, in which demonic powers loom on our doorstep and a contract is offered, I offer a reminder to all that this realm has its own guardians, be they the divine, druidic, spiritual, immortal or mortal. I will stand with those who call this realm their home, those who are tied to its power, those who would fight for its safety.

I offer this prayer, this song, this oath:


"I call upon Arawyn, who inhabits and gives life to all around us.
I call upon the twelve Divines, who watch over us from above.
I call upon the Ma’khet, who help to guide our souls.
I call upon the Primal Aspects, who teach us.
I call upon the Kolator, who aid us.
I call upon the Ancestors, who came before.

- Guide us and fill us with resolve

I call upon my own strength and make this pledge:

I will stand against the oncoming danger, I will protect those I love and I will fight as one with my neighbors. I will see to the safety of this realm, and I will make no pacts with those who wish to deceive or harm me or mine. "



Travance, now is the time to call upon the guardians of this realm, instead of seeking help from abyssal powers. Now is the time to look within yourself and find your strength. Now is the time to trust in your own power and to trust in the power of your neighbors!

Once I consider it a bit more, i believe this is an oath I would feel comfortable swearing.
