Necrophitus, Druidics and the Weave

It has come to my attention in the past few days that we *finally* have confirmation as to where druidics originates from. I overheard Belegchand speaking to another person so I do not have the full details but, druidics seems to already come from the weave in some way.

My question/concern on this is, does this mean we do not have to do anything to protect it from Necrophitus? I see every other type of magic user running around like a headless chicken trying to protect what powers they utilize but we as the druids have not. Are we in danger of losing our power to Necrophitus or are we already "protected"? Should we be doing something?

It feels very disconcerting that we have not been required to step up and do anything to protect ourselves and Arawyn as a whole. Perhaps someone that has knowledge of this or Necrophitus in general could instruct me as to how i should be proceeding because none of this makes any sense to me.

I will assume since there has been no response to my original posting either no one knows, or there is nothing to be done.

Look, I'm covered in dirt but that doesn't mean I study it. But someone like that seems threatening to just about everyone, don't you think? Maybe think less about your personal stake in it, because he's already decided for you.

Necrophitus had designed the power magic to be siphoned off to him, as well as drained the energies of the gods themselves, and sap energy from literally every source. Do you really think he would have skipped druidic energy? Why?

Be wise, and assume you just can't tell how. You're safer that way.

So impatient, aren't we? Maybe you're just not looking in the right place for your answers. Necrophitus is indeed a threat to everyone and everything, including us, for reasons that aren't quite clear yet. Look for me at your next feast, and maybe we can find answers together.
