So!
Back in that timeline, I didn't want Eden to die.
Still don't.
There's a hypocrisy in clamoring for death and suffering for past actions when all the while there are people walking in this town, lauded and accepted and praised.

I'm a little fuzzy on the past... month, or years, or however long it was, so this discussion is kind of confusing.
So there are some who say that Eden was saved, or spared.
And there are some who say she was stripped of her powers, and all of her memories.
So if she was stripped of all of her memories, life experiences, choices, powers, and everything that made her Eden, never to see her family again, or interact with other people, if the person she was is gone completely...
In what way exactly was she saved?

She's still breathing.
Regretfully you'll all be dead and dust instead of having to pay for the crimes YOUR hubris in letting her survive will have brought. But that seems to be the general way of 'heroes'. Make a decision that affects the world based on how your personal feelings at that second line up.

A body is still breathing. It's got her face. I think she'd still require a few more qualities to be her, like any of the thoughts, or feelings that lead to her choosing to do any of the things she did.

This conversation is quickly becoming pedantic. We are all just masters of morality here aren't we? Well I am going to disagree that death is the only worthwhile punishment. There was certainly something satisfying about seeing her at her most defeated. Perhaps we will get to see that again someday. Or maybe we won't. I have a lot of time to live to find out. But I will enjoy my time from now until then living my life instead of being stuck in the past.
