Winter Dark Deliverance was created by Zanthios Tartaros (Zanthios)
Let it be known
Myself and Chet Hardwick have traveled to Winter Dark, together, to retrieve and secure items from the library to prevent them from being taken and / or destroyed given the possibility of such actions occurring. We can assume some of the more rare tomes in Winter Dark have been packed up in crates and moved to the County of Loez, specifically Alieander. If not I am wrong such permissions had been granted by both Lord Aleister and Count Sebastian.
The Count’s associates met with both Chet and myself in Alieander and had taken the collected from us.
The tomes will be transported to Palindor.
Our efforts were successful for Travance and the people of Arawyn.

Zanthios,
I am sorry that I could not help with this endeavor this moon. I have however hooked in my apprentices and students to your intents and you should see our aid very soon.
Additionally In our capacity as coordinators for the Travancean chapter of the Kormyrian Mages' Guild, Tyr and Myself will be working on mobilizing the Guild in the war. We should, next moon, be able to throw the full might of a battalion behind noble pursuits such as yours in this dire time.
Thank you for your daring. Be safe and well, travel lightly and preciously.
--Mantel Warrane
P.S. We should next see if we can't get those tomes from Alieander to Palindor as well. As an aside, I hope a similar expedition is carried out for the Sanctus Luminarium in Glangsdale, the Grand Cathedral of Alieander, and the main Mages' Guild.

Mantel,
In whatever pursuit you and Tyr may instruct your
affiliates to take I advise to act cautiously and wisely. For the sake of what is right and for the protection of knowledge accumulated by The Mages Guild perhaps a more peaceful approach would be best.
My journey with Chet could be perceived as a good example as we have secured items and maybe have reduced the possibility of ill use of them.
Vigilance should perhaps remain consistent concerning us all.
To you and the guild I offer my council.

The majority of the Baronial Guard of Travance is helping to hold Winterdark. My hope is, though the books are safe now, that your task will ultimately have been unnecessary. No siege will break these walls with us here.

Damien,
This is War. The divine Free Will of Mortal kind will surmount any obstacle. The Heroic Soul will surpass any limit, given determination and opportunity. Gaaldron has both existentially wild variables on their side, just as we do.
Never grow so complacent as to see the Mountain as infallible. For you will one day watch it erode to the fatal throes of those you took most for granted.

Chet,
I appreciate you accompaniment.
Your actions may have benefited the current and future inhabitants of Arawyn.
We have succeeded, and thanks to teleportation we didn't need to carry too much.
Damien,
Perhaps Winter Dark is more of a probable target oppose to Palindor.
Winter Dark may also have thousands of potential soldiers maybe directly north of it, according to the map at the last gather.
Palindor may be located farther from potential threats than Winter Dark is.
Our actions were arguably necessary as we may have diminished the risk of significant items being destroyed and / or stolen.
Mantel,
That's all not necessarily true.
Maybe we should perceive Damien's statement as
one that he may have believed to be true.
We can perhaps come to the truth, together.

Zanthios,
I cannot help but feel betrayed by your "ambitions". At every turn I have made an endeavor to explain all points of strategy to you and you seemingly operate of your own accord without working with any other travancians. You operate under the modus operandum of peace yet cause unrest amongst our number with very brash and unresearch levels of strategy. Additionally not only is there the baronial guard presence at the keep there are many members of the kormyrian navy and army also reinforcing / drilling troops there which include myself among them. I have implored you many times to use your apt for study and quisical nature of your mind to be put of use in the following:
Information Gathering
-Troop Movements
-Troops Numbers
-Supply Lines
-Securing information on key targets
Propaganda
-Liasing with fellow travancians
-Working with our alchemists
-Working with our allies
Inspiring the People
-Motivation
-Improvement to morale
-Ensuring supplies are delivered
-Inquiring what supplies our people need
These are several of the MANY conversations I and many others have had with you and have disregarded / wasted our time discussing these topics with you on. I have also requested battle strategem in writing from you to best support your thoughts and you have provided NONE. Now I apologize for this level of abruptness but I know of several factions who are already in measure taking steps to ensure knowledge and trinkets are kept safe. However I take offense that there is zero belief in the current heroes stationed at Winter Dark and this in my opinion is a grave disservice to the many of us.

All,
My apologies for my poor wording. While I do hope these actions were unnecessary, I do not discredit them. Being prepared for any situation, including an assault on Winterdark that may threaten the knowledge held in it's library, is important. But Chet is right. Many will hear of these postings, not just heroes. They are publicly tacked to the Inn board, and we all know how fast the commonfolk can spread words if they please. They are quiet talented in that regard.
It was not my plan to discredit the actions of Zanthios and Chet, but simply to reassure those who will hear of this posting. Steps may be performed in the scenario Winterdark is attacked. But we have good people here, who will not allow the city to fall to a siege.
I do not wish to spread worry, that our soldiers hear we are attempting to save what can be saved from Winterdark before it falls.
I spread hope. Winterdark will not fall with us here. We will not allow it.

Damien,
I appreciate that you have, perhaps, explained in more detail your message.
We should not let our pride dismiss our caution.
Albeit your words may have had good intention there is perhaps a better
way to convey your message. We should positively support actions intended towards
achieving the righteous success of the people.
A cautious action is maybe never in vain.
Aiki,
Perhaps you're wrong as I have been working collectively with Travancians,
on perhaps different accounts, concerning improving Arawyn.
All that I've done concerning Winter Dark had been presented before and approved by both
Lord Aliester and Count Sebastian. I hope you do not doubt their ability, as well as my own,
to act duly.
I perhaps acknowledged your advice but maybe securing the items kept in
Winter Dark may have been significant and appropriate
and maybe the Count believed so too.
A cautious action is maybe never in vain.
I hope you trust our leadership and feel differently.

Ser Oacenth,
It is maybe known that Duke Balliol had acted with violence and recklessness in an attempt to gain power.
The items in the Winter Dark Library could be used for ill intended things.
I believe that securing the items that have been secured may benefit the people of Arawyn
as securing those items may have increased the probability of them not being used
in a violent or inappropriate way.

I just want to make sure I'm understanding correctly.
You took these items, from probably the most secure location possible. You then moved these items AND have publically announced doing so.
This should provide years of entertainment attempting to put an priceless collection back together that will be scattered to the 4 winds before anyone realizes.

Zanthios,
What troubles me is that you are assuming yourself leadership in your chosen words. What disturbs me is your usage of our Lord and Warden's titles as if they are your own. At no point in time has it ever been in anyone's discussion of stratagem that you hold rights to speak for them. At no point in time that "your" leadership should be blindly followed as you have not earned that right. You presume much with your blood lines and take much privilege with your birth name. Leadership is earned not given, leadership is commanded by respect of your peers. Additionally your own words betray you. You are "maybe" "perhaps" confident in your own decisions. Trust? You ask for mine and others yet not offer any of your own. This will be the last comment from myself on this matter but know in the coming gathering we will have words.

Gabriel,
There are perhaps thousands of soldiers located directly north of Winter Dark.
Although Winter Dark may be very secure it is perhaps near the border lines of Duke Balliol's
forces. Geographically speaking Palindor may be much more distant from such border lines.
The decision the Count had made to grant Chet and myself permission to secure items
could be perceived as precautionary and just
Aiki,
You are perhaps are very mistaken and incorrect, again.
You assumed the context of my previous message wrongly and you should not do that.
Assuming context is perhaps wrong and maybe instead you should ask for a clarification
oppose to assuming the worst.
Your words are offensive and incorrect.
You should be more hesitant before acting in such a disrespectful manner.
Perhaps your judgement is faulty and needs refinement.
When I may have said you should trust your leadership I was referring to the decision that both
Count Sebastian and Lord Tartaros had made that allowed Chet and myself to secure items from Winter Dark.
We wouldn't have acted without their approval.
Again I'll say.
You should trust your leadership - both Lord Tartaros and Count Sebastian
As they their approval led to our actions.
If you wish to debate the validity of their decisions perhaps you can do so,
respectfully, with them.
I do not speak for our leadership but instead I speak of what they have done when appropriate.

Chet,
I was beginning to think you had enough wisdom to not get wrapped up in this grade of farce,
Last I checked Winterdark was one of the most secured structures in Arawyn, wherein this priceless collection was under the singular control of the Count of Winterdark. Aleander is a political melting pot. I do not look forward to seeing those tomes in some contentious nobleman's study or in the hands of a farflung future enemy.
One should not make moves just to make them. We are facing foes on all fronts. We do not have time for pointless sophistry.
Finally,
Zanthios,
Speaking as an authority on legal matters; this was your idea. His lordship and his grace enabled you to make this move in good faith, but it ultimately was your decision. Live by it, and do not hide behind our nobles, who in their good graces, have enabled their subjects to weigh in at the war table. It behooves you to leave no doubt that it was your initiative and not a nobleman's edict that these tasks were carried out. Also, it is unwise to publicly post when precious goods are being transported, no matter how much acclaim you believe it will get you.
Signed,

Verily,
Your slander is unappreciated, inappropriate, and unnecessary.
The items are to be taken to Palindor.
Granting permission to a request may reflect acceptance and agreement with the intention and cause relative what had been proposed.
The actions taken by Chet and myself should perhaps be perceived as just, successful, and with good intention.
If Count Sebastian and Lord Aleister disagreed with my plan then they would have rejected it, but they didn’t.
Although it was perhaps my plan, originally, to secure the supposed items, I had no intention of doing so without the proper and righteouss authority.
You should respect that our leadership made a decision to accept the plan. Maybe they know more pretaining the safety of the items and the scurement of both Alieander and Palindor.
This is the Count’s items and I intended to assist him and he accepted my assistance.
I trust and respect our leadership. If you disagree you may do so respectfully and politefully. Your criticisms also reflect our leadership’s approval.
Please, act respectfully and responsibly.

All,
This infighting will not help our war effort. Everyone is doing what they can to help in the ways they know how, whether that be just following orders, as I am, and the rest of the Guard is, or acting on what they believe is the right thing to do. I will say again, as several of you have already acknowledged, these boards are public, not just to heroes, but to anyone. They look upon these papers, tacked in anger and signed by some of Arawyn's finest, and they see squabble, petty slander, most importantly, destabilization.
We must show them that we stand together, differences in strategic opinions or not. What's been done has been done. I will not allow the commonfolk of Travance to wander into the Dragon's Claw, seeking shelter and comfort in this time of war, and find a board full of messages showing that we are focusing on a simple disagreement and misunderstanding more than steeling ourselves for the time again.
I say again, we are stronger than this. Winterdark will not fall. Travance will not fall. Lord Aleister and Count Sebastian will stand victorious with our help, and they will be proud of each individual, hero or not, that stood loyal to the good of this land.

Allow me a moment of clarification,
I am not angry. This is not slander. I am telling you as a Kormyrian authority to mind your wording. It is my duty to do so. I would not come here hoping to use emotion to change anyone's mind. I have accepted that no amount of patience or explanation will help Mr. Zanthios understand any fact that does not conform to his flights of fancy.
And I have the utmost confidence in our leadership; this farce has done wonders for morale. Everyone needs a good laugh from time to time.
Best,

Magistrate,
If you think this was a farce, could I suggest speaking with Count Everest himself since he plotted the course rather than lobbing blame at a newly minted squire trying to do right by lawful authority? Ethan and I could use some assistance in organizing the cellar if you find yourself bored.

Let us leave this with Private Marcain's wisdom instead of yours, Squire Hardwick. I know you are new to this, so you will report to me as soon as you enter the Proper at this upcoming Feast for instruction on how a Baronial squire should act.
