Attention Casters!

With Springtide on thre horizon, a couple of druids were summoned to the home of an ancient mentor, Hughe. He gave us information that leads us to believe that the rise in primal energy lately will possibly "explode" maybe it won't for a couple more years. Either way, thr end result changes every time this happens. In an effort to put the least amount of strain on the environment and the creatures that call it home, some of us have decided to "open the dam" on or terms while we are ready, under our means. The result from the release cannot be determined, it could be good, bad or nothing could happen.

I am asking for any caster who would like to volunteer under this potentially dangerous ritual to please either volunteer here or find myself, Ergos, Keavy or Wren and let us know you're willing to help. Right after the town crier makes his announcement Friday eve, we will be meeting at the inn to perform the Rite of Springtide. No doubt this will cause a ripple across the weave so any casters are welcome to participate. There is a possibility of harm as we do not know what will happen, but this needs to be done sooner rather than later. So please weigh your decision carefully and let us know if you will be willing to help with this ancient Rite.

The energies most effected will be primal starlight and possibly chaos so we're in extreme need of wielders of those magicks but as I said previously, there will likely be ripples across the weave as a whole so all are welcome to assist. I will be preparing for the rite until Friday eve so feel free to contact me at any point.

Not doing this ritual could cause unknown strain on the environment if Nature is not fully prepared for it. Those who are connected to Arawyn know that it is only a matter of time until the "flood gates force themselves open". It is better for all involved to do it now, rather than it explode and potentially cause more harm.

As stated Zanthios, it's effects are unknown. Our mentor has experienced several Springtide and what happens is different every time. And as Caelvan said, it's not a matter of doing it or not doing it. The Springtide will happen no matter what. It's either we "set it off early" while we are ready or wait for it to "explode" on its own when we are not prepared. These are the risks we take to keep the land we live on and the things that inhabit it safe. We choose to continue our practice because we know what the risks and still feel we can do good in this world even in those risks. We're not asking anyone to endanger themselves. If they volunteer to take that risk, that is entirely their decision and I show no ill will to anyone who wishes not to.
