While I could get into a dissertation on the different chemical processes that turn milk into either cheese or butter, as well as the various techniques used to create the many varieties of either, I feel like that's not what you're aiming for here.
Suffice to say that all forms of cheese are delicious, and that's all that this particular intellectual needs to know.

You ken that cheese that has holes similar to shooting lots of arquebus bullets at it? how does that occur? Brigitta told me years ago that was caused by how it was made.

Based on what we know of Cheese, and how it's made, would it be accurate to consider tofu simply a milk free cheese?

How is tofu similar to cheese, Lucky?
Cheese is delicious. So is tofu, but in a very different way. I don't know how to describe it.
As for cheese with holes... I would like to know how it got the holes, but that doesn't make it any less good.

I believe the cheese with holes in it comes from some Nordejar tribe. It’s something about the way they make it.

A unifying theory.
Of cheese.
I am interested in how tofu fits in to this paradigm.

So, apparently Tofu and Cheese are made in almost the exact same way, after the beans are mushed up first to create the mixture used to make it. Both go through similar fermentation processes, and the curds are eventually removed from the liquid part. Both are then shaped and left to cure and age(Yes, aged tofu exists).

Butter happens when the particles of milk fat hit into each other and stick together when you over whisk whipping cream. When enough particles of milk fat clump together and fall out of the emulsion of making whipped cream, you get butter and the remaining liquid is skimmed milk. If you add salt to the cream before whisking, it will be salted butter.
