Persistence was created by Erik Silverfang (ASchleicher)
After reading persistence I had a question regarding its use for the following 2 weapon styles.
Unarmed fighting (brawlers)and 2 handed weapons
How does the disarm work if using either of those fighting styles or would you just take the daze version of the skill?

Persistence
This ability allows the character to defend a damaging attack and instead take one of the
following effects. If the attack dealt fifty damage or less, the character is rendered Disarmed. If the attack dealt more than fifty
damage, the character is rendered Dazed. -Periodic, Reaction (Defense)
Can this ability be used to stop piercing or casted damage.
Thanks

In order to use Persistence, you need to succumb to the status effect. If you cannot succumb to the status effect (e.x. you are already suffering it) you cannot use Persistence.
Regarding weapons wielded in two hands: if you willingly take an effect, such as Intercepting or afflicting yourself with a Disarm (by using Persistence), your Immunity to that effect does not apply. So if you use Persistence in the way which would render you Disarmed, you must take the Disarm, even if you would otherwise be immune to it.
The one exception to that immunity rule would be Unarmed and Claws. These weapons cannot be Disarmed because they are physically attached to you. Because of this, you may not use Persistence in the way that would render you Disarmed while fighting with Unarmed or Claws.
Yes, it may be used against any ability that deals damage.

Cabins of the Month
Dark Monastery, Dregamire Statehouse
Again, we couldn’t just choose one! The state house that is normally Drega’mire, where Mars, Diane, and crew stayed was done very well. They had several regulars and some new players staying in one large room and did an admirable job covering coolers, hiding gym bags and setting up a few prop filled tables and hangings. This is why the sprit of RP is important. Just putting a little more effort into cabin decoration enhances the immersion for the whole game. Nice job everyone! The Dark Monastery was also done very well. Creepy and dark, vastly different from the Monastery we are all used to. The random body parts and such made it so you never forgot what god was worshipped there! Most of the work was done by Rob & Emily G. and we wanted to let them know they did a great job! A special thank you to Kate, Kristen & Jason A. for setting up the mage’s guild & the armory also.Dark Monastery, Dregamire Statehouse
